This tour leaves from the small town in the valley of «Santiago del Teide», along the path that leads to «Calvario» where we actually start our route.
The area is known for its beautiful «moon landscape» that was formed by lava flow caused by the last eruption of the «Chinyero Volcano» in 1909.
We will follow the route here until we enter the «Forest crown» which is basically a pine tree area, circling the whole island. Here we will reach the spectacular »Black mountain» and will continue up and down in an easy and fun way until we reach the tiny village » San José de los llanos». That is our moment to have a break and snack before returning back to the starting point. Last part of the route is easy and will offer impressive views of» El Teide» and the» Macizo de Teno».
